Let’s Come Together! “Film Lovers Will Love This” - the New EU Cinema Campaign is Branded “Soft Porn”

Newsworthy tough a bit odd. The European Union has launched its own channel on YouTube, its most popular clip showing a collection of sex scenes from various recent European films. The BBC writes “Supporters say it celebrates European cinema, but other term it soft porn”. Does this raise another discussion about art vs. porn? I’m on the fence about this campaign. I don’t think anyone has ever accused European cinema of being stodgy or prudish. But it’s a well made clip, and the debate is somewhat curious.
