I don’t understand spam anymore, where it leads, what it does for the spammer, whatever. One common technique that makes sense is by sending out a spam e-mail with a random name hoping that you will open if the subject header is something like “Hey Jack, it’s Bob” and your name happens to be Jack and you have a friend named Bob. Well today, I got one of those addressed to “Yoon Montelongo.” Now what are the chances of finding a guy with that name? (Believe me, my name is far less exotic). Furthermore, the text of the email to the undersized Mr. Montelongo was downright rude as all it said was:
“News to Yoon
We have the answer for you mr little cock!”
